While at The Vines of Mendoza Tasting Room recently, I had my experience improved by adding The Vines’ Sensory Kit, which includes about 20 wine fragrances, and uses the flavours: sour, sweet, salty and bitter to help people understand the typical smells and tastes of wine varieties. Further to that, it’s a great intro into how to food and wine pairing as it demonstrates how two different flavours react together in your mouth.
